2026 Gulf of America Release division rules and format.

​2026 GOA MONGO RELEASE DIVISION
Teams fish 4 days per month May- Sept, we will award 1st and 2nd place top monthly points
teams. We will award 1st and 2nd place top overall season points.
● $5000 entry fee
● Pot Payout -1st and 2nd each month, 1st and 2nd for the season.
● 10% of the pot awarded each month 1st 60% 2nd 40% .
● 50% of the pot awarded for the season winners. 1st-60% 2nd 40%
● Teams fish up to 4 days per month
● Teams must declare each fish day the calendar day before fishing.
● Official judged tourney release videos will count, (teams must provide prof i.e. catch
stat, realtime or tourney website app data )
● Release videos are required to be reviewed by MONGO judges for other non tourney
days.
POINT STRUCTURE-
● BLUE MARLIN 600 points
● WHITE MARLIN 200 points
● SAIL FISH 150 points
● Spear or unidentified billfish 150 points
● GRAND SLAM BONUS- 1000 bonus points ( blue , white, sail must be caught in same
day)
